Mass celebrated twice a month by the local priest and Communion is administered every week.
Rosemount Nursing Home welcomes birthday parties and special occasions by arrangement in the nursing home where our residents can enjoy birthday cake, live traditional music and much more.
Some of our residents participate in the Sonas programme which our activities co-ordinator, Deborah, runs. Sonas is a therapeutic communication activity for older people, which focuses on sensory stimulation in the belief that the senses are the gateways to communication. It is for older people with dementia, intellectual disabilities, other types of communication impairment and those who are experiencing social isolation. The aim of the programme is to activate each participant's potential for communication and enhance their quality of life.
